Each year, shipping carriers update their rates to reflect changes in inflation, operating costs, and demand. This year, carriers' retail rates increased by an average of 11.9%.
As a result, Mercari will update prepaid label prices for new and updated listings using Standard rate shipping beginning January 20, 2026. Best rate shipping label prices will not change with this update. View the updated rates here.
To help support our community as shipping costs rise, we're offering limited-time promotional shipping rates** from February 16 through April 16, including $4.99 UPS/FedEx 1-5 lb shipments (1 cu ft/22″ longest side) and 49¢ First-Class envelopes.
